Jesus calls the first disciples with the command and promise, "follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Followers of Jesus have been made new by Jesus, are being made new by Jesus, and desire to see others made new by Jesus.

Our desire is to be and do locally what we hope to see globally. We do not want to fly to the other side of the world to live in a way we are unwilling to live, serve, and love in our own neighborhoods. Our mission starts in our own families, neighborhoods, jobs, schools, and leisure activities—in the daily rhythms of our lives. Our prayer is to then equip and unleash a family of missionaries to do, everywhere else in the world, what they are already doing right here in their own backyards.
